A message to early $99 orchestra supporters

I hope you’re doing well. I want to throw us back to 2015 for a few seconds and I promise it’s going to be worth the read.

In 2015 I created a Kickstarter campaign called the $99 Orchestra. Right out of university I had an idea that at its core was amazing. It turned out that I didn’t have the experience nor capacity to deliver a satisfactory service nor quality. I want to take this opportunity to acknowledge the poor customer service, unanswered emails, overbooking and music quality that was below your expectations (and ours).

All that said, great things have been born out of the project and I’d like to thank all of the early supporters and apologize to everyone that deserved more from the $99 Orchestra.

5 years later

The $99 Orchestra no longer exists, but it allowed for a tonne of experience and incepted an exquisite improvement to what is now Musiversal. A company with 9 full time employees from the US, Portugal, Australia, Denmark, UK and Brazil backed by adequate venture capital. We are serving 100s of customers worldwide and only work with high quality orchestras and musicians. We have a customer success team whose job is to help and support composers pre and post booking. We have in-house producers that make sure your sessions run well and professionally. We have an ex-Google employee working full time to launch a whole new platform and service. Well… you get the idea.

Musiversal is in a completely different league and may well be the kind of service that you wish the $99 Orchestra was - perhaps even better.
